Follow-on Support
the workers are nice and good fun, we went to the safari park!
'whatever you tell them it is private, it's good and you know you can trust them.'

Once you leave refuge to move into your new home that can be a scary time too. You could have made friends in refuge and you might be worried about missing them or your workers. When you do move out then you can continue to get ‘Follow-On’ support from us. We can help you settle into your new school and look for any groups that you might like to join near your new home.
Our Follow On programme is a more structured plan where we will work through issues important to you like family, feelings and keeping safe. Some of this will be in small groups but you will always have the chance to speak to someone by yourself if you want. You will also get a chance to play and sometimes see the friends you made in refuge.
We also organise trips and outings in the school holidays, some just for children and some for families, to give you a chance to get out and enjoy yourself.
