Social Group

A Social Group runs on Wednesdays every fortnight during school term time and is open to all women who access our services.

The aim of the Group is to run a programme of events which will bring women together and enable them to develop their confidence, promote peer support and reduce feelings of isolation.

Past activities have included: Healthy cooking workshops, card making, Bingo, Reiki and some women have also attended events such as International Women's Day.

Women who attend the Social Group are also able to get involved in the decision making of Clackmannanshire Women's Aid on issues such as: how to improve the service and being involved in recruiting new workers.  They can also be involved in consultations on national issues that impact on the Violence Against Women agenda.
