How you can help

Donations

Any donation small or large can make a real difference to the everyday lives of women and children in Clackmannanshire.

In Clackmannanshire in 2015 -2016 there were 698 reported incidents of Domestic abuse by Police Scotland, and we are committed to providing the best service we can to these and to the many more women and children affected who do not report to the police.

Donations can be made as one off donations, by regular giving by direct debit or payroll scheme or legacy.   Please contact the Clackmannanshire Women's Aid Office for more information.

Alternatively you can text us your donation via our JUST GIVING account

Text your message CWAP38 then the amount you wish to donate e.g. £1, £5, £10, £50 and send to 70070, your donation will appear on your mobile bill as CWA.  Thank you.

We also accept:

Women, Children and young people's clothes, toys, shoes.

Household goods, such as bedding, lamps etc to help when rehoming women and children. These can be donated Monday to Friday at our Office base at Greenfield Lodge, Parkway, Alloa.


Volunteering

We are not currently taking on any unpaid workers.




Raise Awareness

Our workers would be happy to come and speak at your community events or deliver inputs or training to staff eg. in schools, health, social work, voluntary sector on issues surrounding Domestic abuse, dating abuse, CYP & domestic abuse. 

We currently work with Gail Cook- Violence Against Women Partnership, Domestic Abuse Policy Co-ordinator delivering Level One and Level Two Domestic Abuse Awareness Training for Multi agency front line staff.
