About us

We are a registered charity providing information, support and safe refuge accommodation to abused women and their children, if they have any.

We have been supporting women and children in the Clackmannanshire area for 40 years.

We are funded by Clackmannanshire Council and the Scottish Government via the 'Equally Safe Fund' and through donations from Clackmannanshire residents and organisations.

Our services

Women’s Support Service- One to one information and support from our Women’s support workers.   This can be accessed in a variety of ways: via our Office based support, Drop in services at local Colleges/ Health Centres, Social Group.

Refuge Accommodation- Safe and temporary refuge accommodation for women fleeing domestic abuse.  This includes a support service from Refuge workers , including a Family support service at weekends. .

Women's Follow on Support- Support for when women are ready to move on from Refuge, into thier own tenancy.

Women's Outreach support -
Support for women in their own community.


Children & Young Persons Refuge Service- Offering support to children and young people living in refuge with their mothers.

Children and Young Persons Follow on service- Tailored support for children once they have moved with their mum into their own home.

Children and Young Persons Outreach Service- Offering a support service to children and young people who have or who are experiencing domestic abuse.  This service is delivered in Primary & Secondary schools throughout Clackmannanshire. This service is available to children even if their mums are not engaging with any Women's Aid service.
